• I like the ignores magic part. It is not clear what it does but you can always declare that later during play. "Oh, he has magic armour? Blackiron ignores magical stuff..."
• Rank, rank is used as an edge in combat. Compare the rank of the weapon to the rank of any armour and that gives you the edge.

Now on top of this, pick one skill to be at 5w and two skills to be at 1w. You now have a fully functioning HW starting character.

There are ways to tighten up the 100 words (remove second mention to being born in Jonatela for example) but else it is good.
