What's that, Lassie?

Wesley's joined the cult of no spaces?

Actually, that looked really strange -- UNTIL I set a 'reply' to it... Odd.

But yes, the (skill)/3 + 6 works pretty well, as the top end RQ folks we run into (horrors like annoyed Coders, guys named Onslaught, stuff like that) top out in the 200%+ range.

(200/3) + 6= 12W2 Which is considered top end for most mortals.

Anything more huge, such as most of Dorastor, tends to be in the W3+ range, which is a ppropos for someplace like that. Or guys named Harrek.

I *personally* don't like the thought of straight conversions as somethings do not change over readily. We will see how that works (or doesn't) when the game comes out. Remember, your combat AP are generated by either your combat skill (which can be low) or soemthing 'reasonable'

Example used by the "Blind Taste Test:"

Slud (remember her?)
Skills
Close Combat (club, claws) 18
(My GODS she's) HUGE 10W

I used the Huge skill to generate Slud's AP's (augmented by some magic by WhiteEye) for a tasty total of 34 -- tossed in some regeneration (gains back APs each round) and a really big club (tm) and went to town. There was much running away.

Something like the Great Lizard Mother could be done similarly. This lets you have a low skill - high hit point creature reflected accurately in the game.

But your milage MAY vary!
