The one that confuses me is "Sunset Leap" for Orlanth Adventurous. Anyone got any ideas?

We were speculating about this yesterday when I ran a game from just the synopsis and the first 3 chapters. The thing that came to mind first for me was some sort of spectacular leap, like the hero's salmon-leap used by Cuchulainn. Among other ideas that cropped up were some sort of teleportation-type effect - "leaping to anywhere the setting sun shows the weakness of the Evil Emperor Yelm!". Or maybe some sort of power to summon darkness (making it seem like sunset), using the darkness powers stolen from Kyger Litor.

Of course, in the end, the general concensus was that there *must* be some sort of guidance about these sort of things in the full version of HW. To not include *something* seemed ludicrous. Not every gaming group has a great big knowledge of Gloranthan myths to cook theories up out of. Or even wants to get into that.

Sure, I *like* improvising stuff. But there are limits. There has to be something to improvise *from*.

I don't want to get down about a game that I haven't even read, but I have a very bad feeling about HW now. :(

I hope I turn out to be wrong about this. I *really* do.

Regards,

Bruce
