Lunars kick ass on Full Moon Day. They always have. how is this different?

In DP the Sartarite Magical union troops have 4's & 5's for their MgF, compared to the Lunar's Cyclical magic (the Cyclical MgF is 3-4-5-7-6-5-3), so the average Lunar unit is below the average Sartarite unit 2/7, equal 3/7 and better 2/7 of the time. (I could work the numbers more, but this will hold...)

But the Lunars had "cheats" - YT had non-reusable Sever Spirit, but could Resurrect, to quote the best known example (ie, the one in my mind without looking up others). So they had "weaker" magic when compared Spell to Spell (reuseable vrs non-, frex), but had a special powers that their Orlanthi rivals couldn't match *at all*.

But the Cycles *can't* be discounted (outside of the Glowline). 4 days out of 7 the Lunar magician is pretty screwed, 2 days he is equal, and 1 day he is superior. so, overall, the paradigm holds - Lunars are generally worse off than others *except when they can chose the time and place*. The change is that while the magic itself is equivalent Feat to Feat, the caster's ability to use it is affected.
