Hi Stephen,

Welcome to the list.

I thought I'd drop you a line, as you seem a little cautious about running the game. I'm a fairly regular (though I've been v quiet over the last month or so) contributor to the mailing lists, and pretty experienced at running HW. I've been running a campaign since March last year, and I run demos at cons, etc.

If you're interested, I'm quite willing to run a one-off scenario for yourself and the rest of your group. It sounds like you're based around London, which is where I live. Hero Wars can be a bit confusing to run at the first attempt - it was for me! And having someone who knows the game is a real boon. So I can sort of demo the game to you guys if you want. I don't claim to be a great guru on the game, but I know what I'm doing. <grin>

I can bring along a scenario/pregen characters or whatever. If you're not interested, no worries. But the offer's there.

Regards,

Bruce

PS - you can trust Ian Cooper, he's part of the group that I play in. ;)
