Except that goid wouldn't have many of the skills useful to raiders. A Finovan the Raider godi wouldn't be all that great on a raid.

I think I'm just having trouble with the godi role in society. I think I'll reread that part of TR again tonight.

I can see Finovan being very popular with Godi. He's an extremely popular subcult among the young and active. I think that there would not be that many _priests_ would be servants of the Raider.

And during the rebellion, Finovan's ablities might be rather useful.
