Dreaded-Big-Table-wise (actually not THAT big),

if Old Wealth = X
and Added Wealth = Y

New Wealth Z should (mathematically) be calculated according to the difference between X and Y, and not the absolute value of Y.

Another basic principle :

If (X - Y) = 10 or more, Z = X
(Unless Narrator LETS you spend a HP for +1 Wealth)

So :

(X - Y) : Z

  10+ : X (negligeable added Wealth)
   9 : X + 1
 7 - 8 : X + 2
 4 - 6 : X + 3
 1 - 3 : X + 4
   0 : X + 5

-1 - -3 : X + 6
-4 - -6 : X + 7
-7 - -8 : X + 8
-9 : X + 9 -10 > : Y (negligeable original Wealth) It's easy, but also has some clunkiness about it, and doesn't handle the
problem like an augment, but it's a table that could be used for several other HW purposes IMO.
