But what you get as a benefit doesn't have to be the *same* ability as you wagered. You might wager your "Devotee of Orlanth", say, in order to get "Resist Fire Tribe Magic" or "Knows Evil Emperor Is A Big Girl's Blouse". The Yelm-worshipper might be wagering his "Devotee of Yelm" to gain "Crush Barbarian Upstarts" or "Sun Drives Away Storm Clouds".

But, even in the RW, if you're both using the same ability, you might not both have the same *goal*.
