Curses!

Curse? Now I feel bad! When this came up in my group, it didn't seem right that the cursed character couldn't resist the offending magic with an ability. On the other hand, we couldn't figure out how this resistance should work. In the end, we agreed that augmentation was for good guys, and AP damage was the only thing you could do to bad guys.

It now seems this is not true, but I am still a bit uneasy. Shouldn't a high ability in magical defense make it harder for someone to curse you? If so, then how should this work?

<laugh> Brad is a pretty clever guy. :)

This sounds like something that could have happened in my game! The ease with which one can turn a bonus into a penalty through bad dice luck is the most consistent complaint my players have about HeroWars.
