And if one of the secrets of certain great heroes/ancestors/gods was
that they possessed a hunk of truestone, there may be a carefully
guarded preparation ritual for the quest where having a chunk of
actual truestone gives a serious bonus. Also in some of the quests
there may be stations where you are supposed to use truestone. After
all, if the stuff is really all that, surely some of the great heroes
of old used it too!
