in no way I was intending to call you or anybody else a liar. I don't
even know any of the details, so I better shut my mouth instead of
guessing what or who.
and I believe that there's always been a reason or more for delays.
but let me put this again, just to emphasise my point, that because
of the various announcements the last two years I often felt
dropped from the heights of enthusiasm [nurtured by the news]
into the deepest pits of dissappointment. [prosiac]
this, repeated several times, eventually quenched my joy considerably.

I won't, but since there's no scenario out yet, the ones on the
website are the only reference for any newcomer to the game.
the scenarios in the narrator's book doesn't do a good job either at
showing people how Hero Wars really works.
In Pendragon there was a campaign-outline, which clearly showed new GMs
"Pendragon is different from common RPGs and here's how it is supposed
to work"
Hero Wars is different, too, but I still miss some guidance like
Pendragon's in all the published HW-scenarios
[even though they all, but one, are fanwork], so an official word
would've been great. because of this I queried for Robin's
"Blackspear" scenario a year ago, I thought the game's designer should
be the best person to show us the tone and style of Hero Wars, as he
did for Feng Shui, Dyign Earth and Rune.
the conversions - some are good, some I don't really care, but all of them
retain this "1st editon" feel [to use a misapplied term here, DRM -5],
which clearly is not what the rulebook is hinting at.
after all, concerning the success of Hero Wars, I'm not caring for
myself, but for possible newcomers, which maybe feel left alone
clueless.
but by the time I type this, Barbarian Adventures will UPSed around
the world,
so soon I will see :)
>>but it's NOT only the fanboys job to ensure the success- the product

seconded.
but several postings here and on other lists had pleas for support,
which read like it's ONLY the fan's job to ensure success.
but you won't give us dull blades to fight with, won't you? ;)

I'm really looking forward to all that's coming, no matter when.
Greg> Time will tell.
She never did, only acted once. but of course YGMV!
Greg> Thanks for the chance to air this Stefan.
Thank you for the thoughtful and informative comments, which is something that really makes my day.
