I completely agree, and am sorry if this wasn't clear. For the record, if Epwissengruber's example had read:

... I wouldn't be proposing such a "player-friendly" resolution. I assumed, because the player was confidently knocking these three guys around like nameless guards, that that was what they were. No intention to mislead!
