I think I'd prefer an approach where you don't have to work out
exactly what you're objective is, and hence the negative
consequences, beforehand.
Next EC I run, I may try the following data-gathering exercise:
- Track the total APs bid by each PC
- Track the total APs lost by each PC due to enemy action
- Track the total APs lost or gained by all participants
