Short answer - yes!
Slightly longer answer: Close Combat and Affinities are treated similarly (though not identically).
You spend 1 HP to add a new style to Close Combat, just like it costs 1 HP to add a Feat to an Affinity. A style could be Boxing or could be Axe and Shield. Each of these sytles can have a different set of edges (if you use edges).
It is implied in the rules (but not made explicit) that you can have specific bonuses to a combat style - see Humakt's gift of +5 to 1 sword style in Close Combat. So if you have: Close Combat 7W (Sword and Shield +5, Spear and Shield) then your rating for Spear and Shield is 7W and your rating for Sword and Shield is 12W. If you later spend HP to raise Close Combat to 8W, then your rating for Spear and Shield is 8W and your rating for Sword and Shield is 13W.
