The stats in AR have been questioned before on a few different occasions.
I think the upshot was that if they don't seem to provide the required level of challenge for your game then feel free to change them.
Some issues with the above repsonse may be: This makes AR less use than a rulebook should be. The numbers are inconsistent with other HW rulebooks and supplements.
Hopefully there's no need to have those slanging matches again though.
