It took about an hour for the main combat, perhaps slightly less. I think that's pretty good.

They don't appear in the rules as such, althought the heroquesting rules on carryover are very similar. Essentialy this was carrying over the level of success from the previous round and making the level of success/failiure in the current round cumulative with it.
The basic idea is that four Marginal Successes in a row add up to a Complete Success, etc.
