Ladies and Gentleman, from Lords of Terror, RuneQuest, Bagog, Beloved Mother of the Scorpion Folk, and K'Rana, The Humakti Scorpion Queen!

Disclaimer: this is going to do profound injustice to both the original authors and to the characters concerned, but since I want to use K'Rana in my campaign and we're using HW rules I had to convert both the queen and her goddess.

As always, I'm eager to be criticized, so that my understanding of the animist rules (which at this stage isn't very deep) and my rendering of a nice character may improve.

BAGOG
[Animist, Chaos, Bagog]

Requirements: only Scorpion things. Be a useful member of the tribe. Physical Abilities: Hunting, Claw, Sting Mental Abilities: Bagog Tradition Knowledge, Spirit Sight, Spiritworld Travel, Shamanic Escape, Spirit Combat
Traditional Spirits: Chaos spirits, Scorpion spirits Spirit Guardian: Scorpion spirits [1]
Spirit Ally: Bagog Herself [2]
Secret: Devour (the Ritual of Rebirth, if performed on the High Holy Day by the Queen and only one prisoner is eaten, the new scorpion man has all the memories of his previous life [3]).

[1] The new shaman's fetch is just the spirit of the former - defeated in
duel - shaman, whose body the new shaman devours ritually to complete his initiation test.
[2] After all the Queen of the tribe is supposed to be Bagog incarnate,
isn't she? The Mother of the Scorpion Race may grant her mundane counterpart a Chaos Affinity or a Shapechange Talent.
[3] Or maybe it's just a D+20 magic?

[4] What does it means to be illuminated in this context? Only that she can
ignore some cult restrictions? Maybe something more, so I gave her a mystical ability (well, sort of). Anyway what path has she followed? In other words: how is RQ Illumination represented now?

[5] If I understood correctly, you put in "significant abilities" only those
abilities which the character wouldn't normally have - given her keywords - or whose rating differs from the keyword rating. Is it so?

[6] I made up the numbers according to intuition, if you know better I would
be most grateful if you could advise me.

	Cheers,
	A converting Alex.
