In a dry, boring sense, feats don't need explanation. Almost all of them simply reduce your opponent's AP total. And by not having descriptions, players are free to exercise their creativity in both describing and applying them.

As for dragging to safety, this probably falls into the "no self-respecting hero" category and doesn't need a roll of any sort.
