o People (not just Issaries, let's be fair) double-glaze-over at mention of logarithms, tables, maths in general, and worst of all, LaTeX in otherwise innocent lists. (Well, speaking relatively...) o It's far from a given what it's appropriate to "simulate" here (setting aside appropriateness of simulation to a given degree at all). Is 10W2 twice as good as 10W? Five times as good? Ten times? When figuring augments, is it necessarily the case that the two abilities participate equally? e.g. you bop someone using your CC[*] augmented by your Swordhelp, ought the two to have "equal weight"? o The natural desire for a degree of compatibility with the existing rules on augments (et al), which is pretty wildly incompatible with the first point, and may or may not be on the second (all depending what one thinks is a funky/ appropriate/Heroic/etc sort of effect, anyway).
Absent consensus on the second point (or effective fiat, which seems
unlikely), soft-pedalling our way past the first is necessarily going
to
be even more difficult. And as far as the official rules are
concerned,
my betting would be that the third will be pretty decisive.
Cheers,
Alex.

abilities
than CC? Well, I'll be...
