Of course, one might consider it ironic that D&D 3E rules rewrite was *strongly* influenced by RuneQuest (Skip Williams was a longtime fan of RQ and deliberately implemented a lot of near-RQ mechanics, at least according to Monte Cook). So then to be taking a 3E setting and using HW/Q rules for it is pretty funny, IMO.
