As you'll have seen in my posts to the group, I may well be wrong - experience suggests to me that even a +5 difference is really quite worrying, but I can't back that up. For a start the exact probabilities vary across the range of the 1d20, and the benefits of multi-step wins are hard to capture.

Incidentally, this is by e-mail as other posts of my have similar sentiments, and I didn't want to clutter the group.
