Your relationship to the community could be reduced. Remember a wound applies to everythying. And it can be that, without self-esteem, one just can't command the respect of the mob like you used to.

Or that you've lost so much 'face' publically that you just dare not speak out for fear of ridicule. One fellow in our game was utterly trashed by the local Earthpriestess in a debate -- she made him look like a callow, warmongering youth with no thought of the Clan, the children, the future or his wife....

...he's resting comfortably and should be out of the pub in a week or two.
