Hi All,

Just three weeks until the convention, and the program is filling out nicely. There is still (just!) time to sign up, and still spaces available in the freeforms.

P R O G R A M

A draft program is now up at the web site - http://gloranthagrouse.com/program.html. Some events still to be timetabled, and the whole thing subject to change, but this is how it looks just now...

S E M I N A R S

Sandy Speaks
Sandy talks on whatever he wants.

Pamaltela and the East
Sandy on the "Missing Lands" of Glorantha.

Computer Games
Sandy on computers.

Cthulhu
Sandy on CoC, past, present and future.

Gloranthan Resurrection
When I started roleplaying, RuneQuest was one of the biggest games around. Now, Glorantha is very much a minority world. What is being done to change this? What else should we do?

The Grouse
You have five minutes to convince the audience that your personal favourite weird theory is true...

The West
Trotsky on Loskalm and Sorceror Knights.

Sun County
Jane Williams and Nick Brooke on the uptight templars.

The Sky
Alex Ferguson demonstrates his new software.

HeroQuesting
Graham Robinson on the other side.

One comment I've heard a few times recently is that Edinburgh is "too far away". Now, if you're in California or Japan, I sympathise, but when I hear this from fellow Brits, I'm a bit puzzled. London Kings Cross to Edinburgh is under four and a half hours by train, and from Manchester is under three and a half. By plane its even quicker - just over the hour. Edinburgh Airport is only three miles from the university, and EasyJet fly there from Amsterdam, Belfast, Bristol, East Midlands, and London (Gatwick, Stanstead or Luton). Their fares are cheap too. Really, couldn't be much more convenient.

Cheers,
Graham
