I don't know how HQ handles the inherent stuff, but my own general meta-rule is that races and creatures having an inherent ability to do stuff better than others get a 20 point advantage.

So puma people get a D+0 instead of the D+20 difficulty when a non-Puma-person wants to assume Puma shape.

Also, horses get a +20 bonus when challenging humans to races.

But this is just a rule of thumb.

Tangentially, VERY tangentially, I'm not sure that the Invisibility power of the saber-toothed mountain mammoths is up against a straight D+60 ... ;-)
