This is very interesting -- I haven't yet played HQ (or HW), but my hunch had been that they'd be a chunk longer than that, maybe 10+ rounds.
Is this typical of other peoples' experience? What do you think causes the lengths you've experienced (do the players make large/small bids? do they spend HPs bumping results up? are the conflicts mismatched?)?
