I suppose that a cathedral is a rather good location (power spot) and that they have a good amount of nice holy items (relics, etc.) to wave around, though. And presumably the head liturgist gets a few augment from the heplers. I am not certain it evens out, even so, but it would certainly help.
The cathedral staff would be spending a lot of time preparing for the rituals, but that seems appropriate.
