What has been said about auspicious day, holy spots and relic bonuses are what were expected. It applies to all of the otherworld types and in other situations (that 10W3 barrier isn't easy for a "beginner" character). The table on p. 102 was intended for all rituals (and I would certainly consider a weekly service a ritual).

That said, I like Nick's "It's easier if they just cancel each other out" bit for regular stuff and just worry about figuring out the numbers if its a special occasion and could really make a difference to the players.
