Well, if we want to make it maximally confusing... Pavis was from Youf, i.e. Kerofinella. I'd think it's possible that he had some kind of accommodation with Orlanth. But that accommodation might have been with a weird "dragon storm" aspect which 3d-age Orlanthi think is heretical.

So... someone who worships Pavis and Orlanth might get in trouble with the other Orlanthi back home, perhaps?
