In do have a little niggle.
Surely the final rating of a piece of craftsmanship (a house, a painting, etc) should be based on the ambitions of the craftsman? If I choose to make a small hut, that's going to be fairly easy, so the resistance rating should be low, so the final rating of the hut should be low. In such a case I'd probably want to base the final rating of the product on the resistance rating (or vice versa).
