I dunno. That implies that there are *some* monsters which can only be hurt by magic weapons (and that enchanted silver qualifies), but it doesn't say anything about whether hsunchen are among these monsters. That section could just be talking about gorp, vampires, ghosts, and so on.

IIRC, the Runequest were-folk were tainted by chaos. That indicates, to me, that whatever RQ was talking about was a smaller group than hsunchen in general, since unless I'm mistaken, most hsunchen are *not* tainted by chaos. So it might be that there are particular nasty chaotic tribes out there which can change into animal shape (willingly or involuntarily), and which can only be hurt by magic weapons--but not all hsunchen are like that.
