How so? They all are difficult to get into. That is, every religion will refuse to teach you their ideas unless they think that the character is honest in his faith. Conflicting faiths make picking up any other religion potentially very complicated to impossible. I mean, depending on the religion you start with, even picking up one more outside of it is likely to be a very complicated task.
It's the interesting working through these problems (and the potential conflicts that arise) that make the option attractive, IMO.
