RR did answer? You must have missed it...
Fetishes and Sidekicks EACH have a relationship, one per fetish and
sidekick. So NO, you cant lump them together. The relationship to
fetishes is the draw back to animists powers, sort of the equalizer,
you need to spend extra HPs in relations... assuming your GM uses
them, I know I tend to forget them and have made plans to address this
over sight in future adventures, which will probably be a problem for
my players.
