I'm not sure I see what's the problem as such. Why don't you just give them higher starting keywords, and more character points to begin with?
Like Durulz 5W, Warrior 5W, Devote of Humakt 5W, 15 traits to begin with (at 17), and 30 points to shower around?
Or did I miss something?
