Good point, I stand corrected.

That's what I'm thinking. I also like the idea of just porting over the bonus if you then Devote. It's a very ineffecient way to do it, so presumably you have a really good storyline reason to want to.

I certainly think a Devotee can improvise a similar feat and then cement them. It's an understanding of the broader nature of the affinity. As far as an Initiate, I don't know if it should be a stand-alone feat. There is something to be said about this being an affinity, no?

Oh absolutely. But I'm thinking of my friend's merchant character in Karse. Raised Orlanthi and initiated into Issaries, but has been trading with other merchants for years. He's a collector of magic by nature, would not those various trading cults have at some point influenced each other's magic? Especially since the secret of Issaries is to trade feats to begin with?
