I'll admit that I didn't know the probabilities, but Mike Holmes has already raised some counterpoints.

Well, remember your original statement was "Most sane powergamers wouldn't even consider becoming
a Devotee unless you had 1W2 in your affinities to get the secret quickly." My point was that becoming a Devotee was a legitimate way to powergame, not that it was the only way.
