Oh, _in_ Glorantha of course the leagues would vary, just as most units of measurement did on earth (even those with the same name). But in game terms you can give its references and fix it.

For what it is worth, I suspect most Gloranthans would work in terms of things like paces, reach, javelin-throw, bow-shot, and similar approximate measurements. No doubt the upper crust Dara Happans and Kralorelians have a bewildering array of precise measurements based on ancient decrees (and probably have nasty schisms because different groups each hold the "one true standard"--and they are not the same. Some of the western cultures may hav standardized mearsurements, either religiously based, or in the case of Loksalm at least laid down in their re-building of their society. But for the most part, in Glorantha I suspect that agreeing on measurements between even two neighboring villages could be hard.

Of course, the advantage of all those vague terms, from a narrator point of view, is that it gives you a bit of fudging room, and can help foil min-maxing.
