Good point. I have a character like this: He initiated to the local canoe and river gods, which might have been useful if his hero band had stayed in the riverside homeland. But shortly after he joined the game, they set out across the desolate plains of Jolar to the Nargan Desert, and shortly after getting back from that trip, started on a sea voyage from Pamaltela to Genertela. Whoops ;-)
