Well for starters, Spirit Magic is an RQ3 term. In RQ2, the magic was called Battle Magic and in HeroQuest, it is Common Magic. RQ3 did have divine magicians using spirit magic but that was a degloranthazied set of rules.

The person who states that the three worlds is not believed by most gloranthans is wrong. The Three Worlds is not a matter of belief but an observable reality by Gloranthans and appears as far back as Cults of Terror. That there was a difference is the magics of the Praxians and the Orlanthi was first made apparent in Nomad Gods and reinforced in the Pavis boxed set. Likewise in the Wyrms Footprints, faint hints are apparent in the Gods of Storm article that Gods and Spirits are seperate entitity.

Now it may be that the Orlanthi having experience only with spirits and gods do not recognize sorcery as a legitimate magical world. That is a valid interpretation of the magical worlds but it is still one that is based on the three worlds.
