As for your Rolled augment, what you really meant to say was "Roll for a +10 expecting to get +5, but be happy when you get that better-than-marginal success and actually get the +10". :-) (at 5W2 it's probably better to shoot for a +7, as that gives you the mastery advantage to bump with...)
