Understood, and I share your opinion. But re-read the quote from Sandy to see where the confusion lies.
I'll add another possibility to the questions I outlined previously. Shall we assume that Sandy meant "another Men-and-a-Half FAMILY" where he wrote "another Men-and-a-Half tribe to marry"?
