YGWV - But as a narrator I would say no. I think the rules do say that if you want more abilities then you have to creat the character proper - at least thats how I would handle it.

When considering someone who has created, for example, a Bison follower, then I would rule (and I think the rules infer this) that you get three abilities that you can raise. These can be the natural abilities, or three different ones, like *come when called* Could get messy, but I digress, ahem....

A caveat I enter when taking natural abilities as one of the *3* special ones, is that they start 4 lower. I reason, and this is for my game, that if you took an ability as a human then you get three at 13 and 15 points. I don't se why a non human should get the advantage of potentially +5 in 3 natural abilities.
