Hmmmm, I think we are reading things differently. My interpretation
was:
- Choose your keyword or creature
- Choose three abilities that are special
3a) Any of those three abilities that come from the keyword or
creature nautral abilities start at the keyword or natural ability
level.
3b) Any ability that is outside the keyword or natural abilities
starts at 13.
In other words, if you take a "warrior" keyword sidekick, and
choose "sword and shield combat" as one of the three abilities, it
would start at 17, not 13 (it comes from the keyword). If you took
the ability "Charming" that is not from the warrior keyword, so would
start at 13. (note there is a whole other issue in here, equally
applicable to player heroes, of whether certain abilities not listed
in the keyword can start at the keyword value because they make snese
in the key word).
