Thanks to Roderick and Mike for responding to my question on designing animist traditions. I'm currently putting together a homeland (no players yet) based on ethnographic sources for the Puget Sound region where I live.

Based on the discussion, I'll probably put together a core practice and a shamanic practice (a distinction that the local natives apparently made, by the way) that together cover the available occupations. Players can add spirits and practices as needed.
