Other important differences:
SCRIPTURES:
- Blessings and Curses can only be invoked by a Liturgist leading his
congregation in a service of worship
- Worshippers typically gain the benefit of *all* of the Common
Blessings provided by their church's scripture; their liturgist may
also invoke a single special blessing (or a curse) during the service
- Blessings and curses both last for a week
FORMULARIES:
- Talismans can only be used to invoke the associated spell once
before they need to be recharged
- They are recharged during a service of worship, using a special
blessing (Recharge Talismans)

Yes, that's right: blessings act as automatic augments, curses as
automatic penalties. It's worth noting that a blessing can be used any
number of times while it remains in effect, but a worshipper can only
use one blessing to augment one ability in any given contest, and the
ability that is augmented must be appropriate to the Blessing.
