Character Altering Decisions

Hi

When presented with information about their home clan sending out messengers to seek the heroband and all the bad things happening at home, the heroband decided to go off somewhere else.

I am thinking that this may well end up as a negative bonus, like a -5 or -10 to a relationship role whenever they are at home (if they ever go there again), when te clan finds out about this behaviour. I am wary about asking the group to take points off their relationship to clan rating.

Any ideas?
