Correct. They *can* do it, but probably aren't trained or prepared for it. Just like a worshipper of Humakt *can* throw himself off a cliff and try to learn to fly before he reaches the ground (note the word "try" there...).

"Seeking out" is really the domain of the Shaman. He's prepared for it, and has special skills (like Shamanic escape) to aid him in his quest.

Well, we didn't have practitioners in HW, it was only Shamans. I'd let this happen in my game.

You can also figure that there are broad categories of "Enemy" - all Fire spirits are probably enemies to a Darkness practice. All Wolf spirits are probably enemies to a Rabbit practice.
