Basically, yes. I don't have any notes from when I was setting up the stats (or even if I did Durstan), but that's about right.

*If* you add together all the APs like that, yes.

The narrator should never insist on running a contest a particular way - some player groups like having a single Powered-up hero as their champion, some like having everyone fight their own battles. It's more a question of what the *players* want than what the rules or scenario writers want. In the case of the BA stats, we simply worked under the Single-PC Champion method, because trying to set it up for each permutation of how to run a contest was silly.

If the players want a one-on-one champion combat, then use the stats as shown.

If the players want to have each of their heroes fighting individually, then ignore the accumulated APs (and in many cases final ability rating), and simply run Durstan & gang as individuals (but then you have to work out their augments and ability ratings yourself).
