It all depends on how the player says it works, and what sort of mood I'm in at the time, probably, but for the most part if it's a "wind" affinity then there should be some physical wind manifestation. Orlanth can be a pretty terrifying guy, but in the way that a thunderstorm or hurricane is terrifying, rathe than a "feeling of dread" way. Other gods might be more "flexible" that way - I can see Humakt as a great "feeling of dread" type of guy.
