ISTR some get-out clause that you have to *give up* magic other than from your god when you Devote, but there's nothing to stop you from re-learning it afterwards.

Of course, a devotee who's looking for loopholes to get out of the restrictions of their status isn't much of a devotee. They shouldn't *want* to use magic from any other source. But that's roleplay, and this is the Rules list....
