Nevertheless, I think it seems reasonable for mounts like this to be treated
as followers for the purposes of lending AP's
I'm not sure about augmenting riders abilities...

ridden by its bonded rider."
Not crystal clear. It looks as if the horse can augment any of its _own_
abilities, making Rider Bond like a magical affinity that's only usable
under certain conditions.
